Add your cards. Kova tells you which one to use, everywhere you go — and keeps an honest running total of what it's saved you.
🔒 No bank login — everCurrently in private beta on iOS. Public launch coming soon.
Open the app at a business and Kova tells you which card in your own wallet earns the most there — no manual lookup, no memorizing rotating categories.
Every time you follow Kova's recommendation, it logs the real dollar value — a running, honest ledger of exactly how much better you did this year.
You tell Kova which cards you own. That's it. No account linking, no transaction history, no bank credentials — ever.
Every card's reward rates are checked against the issuer's own published terms, with the verification date shown in-app. Kova is an informational tool, not a bank, a broker, or a financial advisor — and it's designed that way on purpose.
Kova helps you decide which credit card to use for a purchase and tracks the rewards you've earned. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's protected. Kova never accesses your bank accounts, never sees your transaction history, and never requires you to log in to your bank — there is no bank login, ever.
Account information. When you create a Kova account, we collect your email address, your first and last name, and a password. Your password is managed by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) and is never stored or visible to us in plain text.
Cards you add. You manually select which credit cards you own from Kova's catalog of card products. This is self-reported — Kova has no connection to your actual bank or card issuer account, and cannot verify or access your real card, balance, or credit line.
Location (foreground only). When you have the app open, Kova can use your device's location to detect which nearby merchant you're at, so it can recommend the best card for that specific business.
Rewards you log. When you tap "Used it" to confirm you used a recommended card, we store the purchase category, an estimated spend amount, and the dollar value of the reward, tied to your account — this is what powers your personal rewards ledger. We never see the actual transaction.
Optional bonus tracking. If you choose to track a card's sign-up bonus progress, the spend and deadline numbers are manually typed in by you, not derived from any transaction data.
Analytics. We use PostHog to understand how people use the app, limited to four events: a recommendation being shown, a recommendation being marked "used," a free trial starting, and a card application being started — tied to an anonymous device identifier, not your name or email.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with credit card issuers or any third party for marketing purposes.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account inside the app. This immediately and permanently removes your added cards, your rewards ledger, and your bonus trackers. This action cannot be undone.
Kova is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

These terms govern your use of the Kova mobile app, operated by Kova Rewards LLC — legal entity pending ("Kova," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Kova helps you decide which credit card in your own wallet earns the best rewards for a given purchase, and keeps a running total of the rewards you've captured by following that advice. Kova is an informational tool, not a financial advisor, and nothing in the app constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice. Kova never asks for or stores your bank login credentials, and never accesses your real transaction history.
Card names, reward multipliers, annual fees, and benefits shown in Kova are maintained on a good-faith, best-effort basis and checked periodically against each issuer's own published terms — the "verified" date shown on a card reflects when we last confirmed it. Issuers can change reward rates, fees, and terms at any time, sometimes without notice. Always confirm current terms on the card issuer's own website before making a decision based on Kova's recommendation. Kova is not responsible for reward amounts, approvals, or terms that differ from what's shown in the app.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate information such as your name and email.
You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract Kova's card database outside normal use of the app, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.
If Kova offers a paid subscription (e.g., "Kova Pro"), purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's own terms and refund policies, in addition to these terms.
Kova may, now or in the future, link to credit card issuer application pages. Where Kova earns a commission for an approved application made through the app, this will be clearly disclosed at the point of the recommendation — not only here. Whether or not Kova earns a commission never affects which card we recommend as the best fit for a purchase.
You may stop using Kova and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account, which permanently removes your account data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Kova is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, including that reward information is always current or accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kova is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of [state, pending LLC formation], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
